I've been fascinated by nutrition, holistic health, and alternative therapies for as long as I can remember — I was that teenager who genuinely got excited about health magazine subscriptions!
But my path into this work wasn't just curiosity. It came from lived experience. Years ago, I suffered chronic pain whilst working in the city. Medication was the Western approach, however it was acupuncture that changed everything for me. I still remember driving home after that first course of treatment and calling my (now) husband to tell him it felt like a weight had lifted. Within weeks, I'd enrolled on a part-time acupuncture degree while working full-time — and that was the start of a journey that's now spanned more than a decade.
Since then, I've had the privilege of supporting hundreds of clients toward their health goals — and often, their life goals too. There's nothing I find more rewarding.
Over the years, I've become increasingly drawn to why things happen — the patterns behind symptoms, not just the labels given to them. I have huge respect for Western medicine, and it's essential for so many conditions. But I've also seen how acupuncture and functional nutrition can uncover and address root causes that don't always get addressed within that system alone — especially when medications, side effects and knock-on health impacts start to stack up into something complicated to unpick.
That drive to understand more deeply, along with my personal fertility journey and health experiences, has driven me to keep training and learning; an advanced diploma in Fertility Acupuncture (CICM), and a BANT-accredited Nutritional Therapy diploma — the highest recognised qualification in the field in the UK.
I love getting to know each client's individual story — their nuances, their history, what makes them them — and using that to guide their care. I'm especially passionate about supporting people through fertility, autoimmune conditions, migraines and perimenopause, drawing on both personal and clinical experience in each.
I'm a lifelong learner — I keep up with CPD every week because I genuinely enjoy it — and I bring compassion, commitment and professionalism to every client I work with. I believe everyone deserves care tailored to them.
Away from work, I am a Mum to two children, two ginger cats and live in Horsley. I love exercise, coffee, cake (after exercise!), reading both fiction and non-fiction, and being outside in nature.
